Akina has athletic, elastic movement, a scopey jump and a beautiful nature.

By the fabulous Balou Du Rouet, one of few sires ranked in the global top 100 sires for both Jumping and Eventing. Balou's sire, Baloubet du Rouet, was a prolific international winner, including bronze at Sydney Olympics, and gold medalist at the Athens Olympics.

Her damsire is the imported Noblewood Collins, by Calando I. A beautiful dark brown jumping stallion Collins was imported from Germany as a three year old in 1998.  He campaigned successfully in the Eastern States of Australia in the latter part of 2001 winning many futurities and mini Grand Prix's and represented Australia in Germany in 2003.  

 

Akina has had beautiful foals by Chicago, Emerald and Air Wings Z, and consistently produces balanced and pretty foals with a great jump and easy temperament.
