Kimba has an exceptionally quiet, sensible temperament. He has been trucked and floated numerous times and loads and travels well.

Kimba’s Sire Kentucky van’t Ruytershof is by the 2019 leading sire of showjumpers, For Pleasure out of a Diamant de Semilly mother, Diamanthina Van’t Ruytershof  whom herself competed at 1m60 International level. In addition to being a proven jumper herself, Diamanthina is also a Full Sister of one of the greatest stallions of modern times,  Emerald van’t Ruytershof , a half sister to the champion stallion Nixon Van’t Meulenhof and six more 1m50 & 1m60 jumpers.

Kimba’s dam Bellhaven Cassalilly is by none other than the famous Cassini II out of a wonderful thoroughbred damline boasting some excellent jumping lines including Pride of Kellina, Blue Peter and Precipitation. Her foal is Romley Corsair (by Bellhaven Coraldo) who is successfully competing up to 1.30m over in NSW with his amateur rider.
